Biography

Ms. Manar H. A. Hamad is a Teaching Assistant of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science, Alamein International University, New Alamein, Egypt. She earned her B.Sc. in Chemistry with excellent degree with honors in 2024 and is currently pursuing her M.Sc. degree in Chemistry at the Computational Chemistry Laboratory (CompChem Lab), Faculty of Science, Minia University, Egypt.

She joined CompChem Lab in August 2021 through the CompChem-Talented Students Incubator Program and has since been actively involved in computational chemistry research. Throughout her research journey, she has developed expertise in quantum chemistry, materials science, and nanotechnology, with experience in Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations, electronic structure analysis, adsorption studies, and atomistic simulations.

From August 2021 to June 2026, Ms. Hamad authored 7 peer-reviewed publications in international journals, achieving an h-index of 4. She has held several research positions, including Research Assistant at The American University in Cairo and Graduate and Undergraduate Researcher at CompChem Lab, Minia University.

Beyond her research activities, she has actively participated in volunteer and student activities that strengthened her leadership and teamwork skills. In recognition of her academic excellence, research productivity, and extracurricular contributions, she was named the Ideal Student of Minia University in 2024.
