Alaa H. M. Abdelrahman

Biography

Dr. Alaa H. M. Abdelrahman is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the CompChem Lab, Faculty of Science, Minia University. She obtained her Ph.D. (2025) and M.Sc. (2021) degrees in Chemistry from Minia University. Her graduate research focused on computational drug discovery and the design of potent antiviral inhibitors. At CompChem Lab, Dr. Abdelrahman plays a leading role in supervising junior researchers and contributing to ongoing research projects. She has authored 37 publications in reputable international journals and holds an h-index of 16. She is also an affiliated member of the Egyptian Society of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry (ESTCC). Dr. Abdelrahman joined the CompChem Lab in June 2015 through the CompChem Talented Students Incubator Program. Her long-term aspiration is to pursue advanced research in chemistry and expand her expertise in theoretical and computational methods for molecular design.
